Will the tie-downs damage my motorcycle during shipping?
Not when done correctly. Soft straps at the handlebars and frame make no contact with stress points that could bend forks or scratch bodywork. If your bike has aftermarket handlebars, custom bodywork, or specific handling requirements, tell us before pickup. We note it and make sure the carrier is aware before they touch the bike.
Should I crate my motorcycle for shipping from Spartanburg?
Most bikes ship uncrated on a carrier and arrive without issue. Crating adds cost but provides the highest level of protection for vintage, high-value, or show bikes where any contact risk during loading is unacceptable. We make a recommendation based on your specific bike — we are not trying to sell you crating you do not need.
